To commemorate 80 years of Batman, DC Comics launched #LongLiveTheBat, a global campaign celebrating the cultural legacy of one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. Designed as a year-long platform, the initiative unified social content, live activations, and fan experiences, honoring Batman’s evolution across generations while reigniting engagement with longtime fans and new audiences alike.

The campaign was built around a flexible creative system that could scale across global moments and partners, providing a cohesive framework for storytelling throughout the year. From digital content to in-person activations, #LongLiveTheBat created a consistent visual and narrative language that paid tribute to Batman’s history while keeping the character culturally relevant in the present.

Social played a central role in amplifying the campaign, with content designed to celebrate key eras, iconic storylines, and fan passion. This was complemented by immersive activations and experiences that brought the world of Batman to life, turning the anniversary into a participatory, worldwide celebration.
